The luxurious “Monte dos Apóstolos” Manor is an aristocratic manor built in 1839 close to the city of Portalegre and next to the Serra de São Mamede Natural Park. The manor house was completely rebuilt in 1970 and was renovated in 2004, designed as a 4* country Hotel

Located just 8 km from the city of Portalegre, Alto Alentejo municipality of the same name, the “Monte dos Apóstolos” estate consists of 85 hectares of active cork oak forests, where the cork is harvested and sold, producing a high revenue in sales, olive groves (olives are also sold for olive oil production) orange orchards, a vegetable garden and a manor house

The two-story manor house, with a total area of
1130 m2, consists of seven double bedrooms with their own bathrooms and one master suite, two luxurious living rooms with large fire places on both floors, an elevator, an industrial kitchen and a comfortable common dining room, a bar, an office space and a laundry room.


The manor house is equipped with a modern central heating system and a
separate air conditioning system. This building also houses a 19th-century chapel, which gives the estate a unique architecture. The property boasts a large swimming pool, as well as a children's pool and also includes another separate house which consists of a one-bedroom apartment and five separate additional rooms that can be used for guests or part of a tourist activity.
